Meet the Founders
Emplan Limited was founded by Mustafa Zoeb and Ravi Pattni, who met in 2012. Both brought with them extensive international experience in mechanical and electrical engineering, and together, they saw the opportunity to elevate East African engineering to new standards. Driven by a shared passion for solving complex challenges and a commitment to innovation, Mustafa and Ravi established Emplan to not only meet international benchmarks but also provide solutions tailored to the region’s unique needs. Their combined expertise and vision have shaped Emplan into a leader in MEP services, driving change and raising the bar for engineering excellence across East Africa.
Mustafa Zoeb
Mustafa holds a Master’s degree in Building Services with Sustainability from Brunel University of London.
He brings 15 years of experience in the construction industry. His expertise spans fire suppression designs, HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing services.
Mustafa is a strong advocate for environmentally sound engineering, emphasizing the importance of passive lighting and ventilation designs for the 21st-century engineer.
With a fresh and modern perspective, he also has a drive to promote the use of BIM modelling for better planning and design accuracy in complex development projects. This initiative has positioned Emplan as one of the few companies in East Africa implementing 3D modeling, leading to more coordinated and efficient designs.
ravi Pattni
Ravi is a Chartered Engineer with over 25 years of local and international experience in the electrical engineering field.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electronic & Electrical Engineering from Loughborough University, UK.
Ravi is registered with the Engineering Council, UK, and the Institution of Engineers, Australia, as a Chartered Professional Engineer.
Ravi’s expertise lies in delivering high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective electrical engineering solutions. He leverages modern design tools and technology to ensure every solution has minimal environmental impact while meeting the highest technical standards. His commitment to precision and sustainable practices underpins his work across all projects.
